Something just put me in mind of this:
“I think over again my small adventures, my fears.
Those small ones that seemed so big.
For all the vital things I had to get and to reach.
And yet there is only one great thing, the only thing:
To live to see the great day that dawns
and the light that fills the world.”
It is from an Inuit prayer and it scrolls over the out-fade at the end of the Charles Martin Smith movie, “Never Cry Wolf”.
But this is what I want to do again.
I want to get out on someplace high to see the great day that dawns and the light that fills the world.
